The Cape Rachodo Lighthouse is technically located in Tanjung Tuan in the state of Malacca. But considering this is located just next to Port Dickson, the Cape Rachado Lighthouse is a Negeri favourite too.After the Portuguese came to Malacca in 1511, they needed a lighthouse to guide their ships safely into harbour. Tanjung Tuan was chosen and the lighthouse was built in 1528.
It is believed to be the oldest lighthouse in the country and is an ideal area for bird watching.
