Usually, satay comes to mind when one mentions Kajang. But, there is
much more than delicious skewered meat that’s been attracting people to
Kajang.
In the past couple of years, It has become a prime spot for many
premium landed gated and guarded township which has a rise in its
population.
Kajang is located almost 21km from kuala lumpur and is easily
accessible by car, train and bus. It is also accessible via a network of
highways such as the SILK Expressway, Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway,
North-South Highway, Kajang-Seremban Highway (Lekas) besides the PLUS –
South (North South Expressway) and LDP connecting to Cheras, Puchong,
Bangi and Semenyih.
Public transportation is also readily available via RapidKL buses and the KTM railway line.
Kajang’s recent boom is due to the Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT line that
will be completed in 2017. The proposed MRT line will link Kajang to
Sungai Buloh and Kuala Lumpur via three proposed stations – Saujana
Impian, Bandar Kajang and Jalan Reko.
The fact that Kajang has and will become much more accessible isn’t the only appealing factor enticing property buyers.
Many acknowledge that property is also much more affordable here as
compared to other areas in the Klang Valley. The upcoming MRT line, Its
more affordable property prices and long list of amenities point to
Kajang as an emerging hidden gem indeed.
