Sentosa Medical Centre is a modern 8-store hospital with 200 beds, located at No. 36, Jalan Cemur, Kompleks Damai, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, within vicinity of Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Institute of Medical Research. Basement parking is available for the ease and convenience of our patients and their visitors. In addition, we are just a 5-minute walk away from STAR LRT (Titiwangsa), Monorail (Chow Kit and Titiwangsa) and Pekeliling Bus Station.

In December 2006, KPJ Healthcare Berhad acquired and took over the management of Sentosa Medical Centre. This strategic acquisition is in line with KPJ's overall objective to ensure that private healthcare is accessible to all via its network of hospitals throughout the country. With more than 30 years of experience, KPJ Healthcare Berhad, the healthcare division of Johor Corporation (JCorp) is a leading healthcare service provider in Malaysia. KPJ's extensive network has gone global, and now includes 22 private specialist hospitals consisting of 20 in Malaysia and 2 in Indonesia.

This newly acquired hospital has a history of its own. Sentosa Medical Centre started on 8 May 1852 as a private clinic – Tan Dispensary – at No. 329, Batu Road. Although there was a slight downturn in the economy then due to the end of the Korean War, the practice prospered. Later, we started a Maternity Home above Tan Dispensary and eventually moved to No. 315A, Batu Road, Kuala Lumpur (Foo Chow Association Building). In October 1972, we shifted to No. 316, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur, further expansion of our services. The name of the dispensary was changed from Tan Dispensary to Kelinik Sentosa Nursing Home in October 1972 and, subsequently, to Sentosa Medical Centre in October 1979. In order to accommodate the overwhelming response due to increase for the need of medical care, we expanded our services further and moved to this present building on 1 January 1993.

Ulu Bendul Recreational Park

Ulu Bendul - kuala Pilah
On the Way to Kuala Pilah from Seremban is the Ulu Bendul Recreational Park, which has long been a favourite of picnickers and long-haul lorry drivers looking for some shut-eye.
It has a lovely Waterfall that is not too ferocious, which makes it relatively safe for children to frolic at the base of the falls under the Port Dickson, watchful eyes of their parents.

The forest itself is quiet and rather pretty With nature lovers and campers using it as a location for their wholesome outdoor activities.

The park also boasts of the 2,450ft high Gunung Angsi. Part of the hike to the mountain follows the Sungai Batang Terachi - a beautiful sight indeed.

Cape Rachado Lighthouse

Cape Rachado Lighthouse The Cape Rachodo Lighthouse is technically located in Tanjung Tuan in the state of Malacca. But considering this is located just next to Port Dickson, the Cape Rachado Lighthouse is a Negeri favourite too.

After the Portuguese came to Malacca in 1511, they needed a lighthouse to guide their ships safely into harbour. Tanjung Tuan was chosen and the lighthouse was built in 1528.

It is believed to be the oldest lighthouse in the country and is an ideal area for bird watching.

Negeri Sembilan State Museum

The states museum is located at the Crafts & Cultural Handicraft Complex in Seremban. The building itself is a simply wonderful sight as it features the marvellous Minangkabau roof - shaped like glorious buffalo horns.

The Minangkabau architecture is a proud tribute to the heritage of this group of settlers from West Sumatra who made this place their home.

The building is known as the Teratak Pepatih Building and now house the state's historical exhibits, including the ceremonial keris, Bugis and Minangkabau swords, royal ornaments and various hadicrafts.

Within the compound is a smaller building know as the Ampang Tinggi Palace built during the reign of the fifth Yang-Di-Pertuan Besar from 1861 to 1869.

The palace is  a delicate piece of architecture that serves as a gentle reminder of the intricacies of the royal past.

Other elements in the compound include canons, a boat and a locomotive.

The Negeri Sembilan House or Rumah Undang built in 1898 can also be found there.

It is another fine specimen of Minangkabau architecture and is buil without a single nail.

It was once the Istana Ampang Tinggi, a royal residence built in 1861 at Ampang Tinggi in the district of Kuala Pilah. It was dismantled in 1953 and transported to Seremban. It was reassembled at site in Seremban Lake Gardens but was again dismantled and moved to the grounds of the Taman seni Budaya (Cultural Handicraft Cmplex). It is now a cultural handicraft complex. Entirely built from wood without a single nails.

Sri Menanti Royal Museum at Kuala Pilah

Sri-Menanti
The Sri Menanti Royal Museum once served as the royal palace for state royalty. It is located in Kuala Pilah.

The wooden palace is built with Wooden pegs, using no screws or nails with beautiful solid timber pillars. Within its Walls you will lots of history, including royal costumes and documents of lineages.
This is interesting because Negeri

Sembilan practises Adat Perpatih, which is not practised in most other states in the country.

Adat Perpatih is a matrilineal custom and is said t0 be between 3,000 and 4,000 years old and was brought to Peninsular Malaysia by the Minangkabau people in the 14th Century.

Dayabumi Complex - Kompleks Dayabumi

Dayabumi Complex
Dayabumi Complex

Dayabumi Complex
Dayabumi Complex
The former headquarters of Petronas, Kompleks Dayabumi was designed by Nik Mohammed and built in 1981. In profile, the 35-storey marble-clad tower, cloaked in delicate fretwork screens, forms a four-pointed star intersected by a square, a recurring symbol in Islamic art. To get here, walk over the footbridge behind Central Market.

The Dayabumi Complex (Malay: Kompleks Dayabumi) is a major landmark in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It houses several commercial facilities and is one of the earliest skyscrapers in the city. It is located near the National Mosque, the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Federal House at Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin. It was designed in a modern Islamic style. The facade of the tower is adorned with patterns of eight-pointed stars, and Islamic arches at the top and bottom of the tower.

Petaling Street China Town at Kuala Lumpur

With its distinct 2 store shophouses and colorful temples, fantastic restaurants and bustling night market there is no mistaking that this is Chinatown. Retaining the charm and character of years past, hotels in Chinatown are for the most part smaller, one-off independently owned properties. Clean and well managed these hotels offer good value for money for budget conscious traveler.

Whilst it may seems a bit odd at first glance for an Asian city to have a Chinatown, bear in mind that people of Chinese descent are a minority with just under a third of the country's population.

Centred around the Pasar Seni light rail station the area is bordered by Jln. Sultan Mohamed on the west, up to Jln. Cheng Lock on the north and following Jln. Pudu around to the east. The area is just west of the Bukit Bintang area - within walking distance for those so inclined.

Easy to get to, endlessly fascinating and very easy to explore, every visitor to Kuala Lumpur should make it a point to see Chinatown. Shoppers will lose themselves (and maybe their mates as well?) going through the endless row of tables that serve as shop fronts on Jln. Petaling's night market. And for true Chinese cuisine this is the place to sit down and dig in.

The hotels in Chinatown are, for the most part, smaller family owned and managed hotels offering clean rooms and personalized service for a memorable holiday.

This is where the legendary 59kg copper Guan Dao (Chinese pole weapon) is located. Many have been continuously swarming this temple as they believed that the sword possesses a special power to bless and protect a person if he/she touches or lifts it. Some even believe that it has an inner force that can magically turn a person’s luck around as well.

Pedas Hot Springs

Pedas is well know hot spring among the locals in Negeri Sembilan. This area is great for picnics and family time, with people flocking to it during the school holidays.

Now there is a theme park incorporating the hot springs so there is more fun to be had.

There is a certain mystique and sense of wonder with hot springs, which was probably also why the Roman baths (including that in Bath, England) were once so popular.

Kuala Lumpur’s airport is served by over 40 international airlines -- it takes around an hour and a half to get to Port Dickson. There are train, bus, car hire and taxi options open to all visitors.
